Unlike conventional music blogs, Wildstream allows the Artist to upload songs and keep track of engagements all by themselves. Over the past months, a lot of music creators have used Wildstream to share music for free without storage limits or premium account fees. We have gotten very positive feedback from how music creators make use of the upload feature, and it has been very exciting. For anyone who has any difficulty, this guide will teach you how to upload without hassle.
Upload Rules
When uploading on Wildstream please adhere to the following rules.
- You have rights to the song you want to upload.
- The song does not contain any form of audio advertisement. Example: “More music @ somewebsite dot com”
- Provide original album art of your song. (without any modification)
- Provide exact RELEASE DATE of the song

When uploading you have the choice to upload a single, an entire album or a podcast. we are currently working on enabling Freestyles on the platform for those without a finished project.

We currently support “.mp3” and “.m4a” these are the industry recommended standard for music files, below is a quick illustration showing you the process.
Song information
To complete your song upload it is very important you fill in the correct song information, this will help your fans find you easily.
Song art:
Click the default image to replace it with your original song art, ensure your song art does not have any promotional information eg. the URL of another website.
Song type:
Select the genre your song belongs to, select from Afrobeats, Classical, Country, Reggae, Gospel, Dj Mix, Electronic, Instrumental, Jazz/Blues, Latin, Pop, Hip-hop/Rap, R&B, Rock Acapella. Afrobeat is the predominant genre for Nigerian music and hence the default option.
Song name:
Type your song name only, do not include the name of the artist here or the producer name here. Only the name of your song is required here.
Artist name:
if you are the creator of the song this is where you input your name, if you are uploading for the artist please input the artist name, and not your own name here. if you get the message “Profile already exists! “, please contact us to claim it immediately. If another artist is featured on the song, please create a profile for that artist too.
Song description:
You can write a brief description of the song if you wish, and any other extra information you consider necessary for the song.
Schedule Release date:
The release date is the date the song was made publicly available, This feature allows you to select a past or future time/date for release. Songs on Wildstream are arranged in chronological order on your dashboard, and homepage. if you wish to make the song available at a future date/time, simply select a future date from the date picker. your song will automatically be made available at the time you have set. Your song will be immediately published if it meets the requirements, if you encounter any errors along the way please contact us. After uploading your song the next thing you would want to do is share your link with your fans.
